Scriabin, Vaughan Williams, Juon
Cecilia Zilliacus, Kati Raitinen, Leif Lidström, Bengt Rosengren, Kristian Möller, Jens-Christoph Lemke, Chris Parkes, Tobias Ringborg, Ylvali Zilliacus, Mats Lidström, Charles De Ramus and Bengt Forsberg.
After Saturday night's focus on two musicians at a time, it will now be "maxed out" chamber music. "VW" uses strings, winds and piano in his quintet, while Juon expands the chamber format to a nonet! We will hear how they and our musicians solve the balance problems between very different instruments. Our closing work is sometimes called the Chamber Symphony – a worthy end to this year's festival.
